What is Balmeno?
Balmeno is a daily iron supplement in the form of an oral strip that dissolves on your tongue in about ten seconds. No water, no capsule, nothing to swallow.
Each strip provides 19 mg of iron as ferric saccharate and 400 mcg of folate (vitamin B9).
What does Balmeno support?
Balmeno supports normal red blood cell formation, normal energy levels, and normal oxygen transport in the blood.
It is a daily maintenance dose, not a clinical repletion dose.
My bloodwork came back normal. Is this for me?
Possibly not — and that is worth checking before you buy.
A standard blood panel usually measures hemoglobin, which indicates whether you are anemic now. Stored iron is measured by a separate number called ferritin, and it is not always included in a routine panel.
Ask your doctor for that number. If your iron stores are genuinely fine, this product will not do anything for you.
19 mg? My doctor mentioned 65. Isn't that too little?
Iron is absorbed in limited amounts. After a large dose, the body raises a hormone called hepcidin, which reduces how much the gut absorbs for roughly the following day. A much larger dose therefore does not deliver proportionally more.
What a larger dose does leave behind is more unabsorbed iron in the gut, which is the most common reason people stop taking it.
A low daily dose is easier to tolerate and easier to keep taking.
How is Balmeno different from iron tablets?
Tablets have to be swallowed with water, and many come with instructions about timing, food, coffee, and dairy.
Balmeno dissolves on the tongue, uses a gentler iron form, and has no protocol attached to it.
We make no claim that a strip absorbs faster or better than a capsule. The difference is tolerability and consistency — iron only works if you are still taking it months later.
How long does it take to notice anything?
Iron stores rebuild slowly. Individual experiences vary and no specific result or timeline can be guaranteed.
We suggest giving it three months before judging it, and retesting rather than guessing. Anyone promising you a week is not being straight with you.

How do I take Balmeno?
Place one strip on your tongue and let it dissolve. There is nothing to chew, swallow, or wash down.
How many strips should I take?
The recommended daily serving is one strip. Always follow the instructions printed on the packaging.
What time of day should I take it?
Whenever suits your routine — morning or evening, with or without food.
Consistency matters far more than timing. Most customers attach it to something they already do, like making coffee.
Do I need to take vitamin C with it?
No. A randomised trial of 440 patients found that adding vitamin C made no measurable difference to iron outcomes, and a national gastroenterology society subsequently dropped the co-administration recommendation.

Can I take Balmeno while pregnant or using medication?
